Join us on Friday, August 23rd for an evening of art and music as we raise money to send a hefty one-time donation to the good folks over at

Blood:Water Mission


Blood:Water Mission is a grassroots organization that empowers communities to work together against the HIV/AIDS and water crises in Africa. To see how your donations directly affect those who receive them please check out the following video:


Here's the lineup for the event:


Danny & His Fantasy - Side project of soaring melodic art pop from Joey Cook (Pomegranates , Healing Power)
Absalom Absalom- Dream pop collective from Lexington, KY
Isaac Joel & Emily Sites - Solo material from Isaac Karns (Pomegranates, Healing Power)
Grove City :the band:- raucous doo-wop gypsy folk from Cincinnati


Throughout the cafe, Modern Makers will be showcasing art and photography up for silent auction. If you’re an artist/photographer and would like to participate in the event, please contact us for more details.

So please, spread the word with your friends- let's pack this place out! And please come and check out some great local artists, and raise money for a fantastic cause at the same time!


Admission: $5 (all proceeds will be directed to Blood:Water Mission)
